Upwork is a really good place to find real online jobs. If you want to earn money there, I can explain how I use ChatGPT to help me. Just so you know, this isn’t about letting AI do everything — it’s just something that makes things easier. I mostly use ChatGPT to write my profile and help me make content.
Making your Upwork account
Sending applications on Upwork
Using ChatGPT to help with applications
Use ChatGPT to come up with new ideas. Keep in mind, people hiring on Upwork want real humans, not just AI. You still need real skills and experience. ChatGPT is just a helper, not a replacement for what you know. Try not to rely on it too much.
If you want to learn how to make AI-written content, there are plenty of tutorials and videos online. Here, I just wanted to show how ChatGPT can help you make better content and stronger job applications on Upwork.
Remember, there’s a lot of competition on Upwork now, and clients expect high-quality work and good skills. Keep practicing and learning so you can get the better jobs!
- Sign up as a freelancer.
- Fill in all the info they ask for.
- Set up your page and pick “Content Creator” as your main skill.
- Now write your “about me.” This is where ChatGPT helps a lot. Try to make it about a little over 100 words. Include what you’ve done before. Don’t just say, “Write my Upwork bio.” Instead, give a clear message like: “Make a bio that’s around 95–105 words for a content creator with about 3 years of practice. Talk about writing blogs, making video ideas, doing social posts, and some simple editing.” The better your details, the better ChatGPT’s answer will be.
- Look for jobs using words connected to content creation.
- Pick projects that match what you’re good at and like doing.
- Apply to the jobs and always include a sample of your work, like a blog post or something you’ve written before.
- You can try adding the AIPRM ChatGPT extension. It helps your writing sound more natural.
- Choose the “Human Written” option, then put in your keywords or the job title. This can make your proposal easier to read and more professional.
