I need help with the low RPM on my videos!!!

Does this make sense? My channel is growing with more subscribers and views on its own. My views come from developed countries, and my niche is really profitable compared to other channels... So why is YouTube treating me this way? I’ve reached out to support but haven’t gotten any help. Millions of views are being wasted. I need a solution. Thank you.

This CPM is so much lower if it’s T1 traffic, it's hard to believe!

What! Some topics can have a really low CPM, but this is wild. If you don't want to say the topic, do you know the average CPM for it?

That's pretty low. What niche is this, and how long is your video?

I think the issue is with your watch time. When you check your views, you're not considering the difference between one minute and one hour of watch time.

Watch time seems to be an issue here. Can you add any new hooks around 40-55 seconds in your videos? It might help keep viewers watching for a bit longer. I think this could raise your CPM. Are all of your videos shorts?

Is it shorts or regular videos? Without knowing more about your video, like the format (shorts or long), niche, and so on, it’s hard to offer help.

Following along, since I'm thinking about starting my own channel.

Here’s an idea: maybe YouTube isn’t paying as much AdSense revenue as it used to. Many big creators have noticed their AdSense earnings drop a lot over the past couple of years, some by as much as 85%. There’s only so much AdSense money on YouTube, so you’ll need to find other ways to make money from your traffic. Affiliate offers, CPA deals, and links to products related to your content are a good place to start. AdSense has been fading as a revenue source for a while now.

Find out if anyone is sending bot or auto-generated views from a social media panel to your YouTube channel or videos. YouTube lowers the RPM when they detect any bot or auto-bot views. I’ve seen this myself—just recently, my RPM was over $75 on one video. After adding some views from a social media panel, my RPM dropped to under $1. Any kind of black-hat technique can cause your RPM to drop. Watch some videos to learn why RPM goes down.
