Hey everyone on MMO,
I’ve noticed that a lot of people are having trouble creating and growing TikTok accounts, especially when aiming for a US audience. I can relate, as I’ve been in the same boat before. Even though I’m not based in the US, I manage many US TikTok accounts using a method that’s worked for me.
Today, I want to share my approach to help out the MMO community.
Here’s what you’ll need:
US Proxy: Use residential or 4G proxies. Avoid data center proxies as they don’t work as well and are more likely to get you shadowbanned. From what I’ve seen, 4G/LTE proxies are the best. Make sure you pick unlimited bandwidth ones. New Phone: I suggest using an iPhone, like the 7 or 8, because they’re budget-friendly. New US iCloud Account: Set up a new iCloud account after resetting your phone. Make sure you have a real address for Apple Store verification. New Email/US Phone Number: I’ve found that a new email works fine, but it’s better to invest in a good proxy instead of focusing too much on a new phone number.
Step 1: Factory Reset and Set Up:
Take out your SIM cards.
Do a factory reset on your iPhone, turn off location settings, set your language, keyboard, and time zone to US (-5), and turn off automatic time updates.
After resetting, create a new iCloud account (you only need a new US iCloud for the first time).
Change your IP to make it look like you're in the US—there are different ways to do this depending on your provider. You can search Google for how to do it.
Download the TikTok app (this is important). When you download the app, Apple will ask for your info on the App Store. Open Google Maps, pick a US location (like a hotel or restaurant), find a real zip code, and enter it.
Now, you should have the US TikTok app on your phone. Let’s move on to the next step.
Step 2: Create Account:
Before creating your account, double-check that your IP is showing you are in the US.
Google “check my IP” to confirm your location.
Open TikTok, choose to sign up with your email, and fill in your details.
If you run into an error where your username isn’t what you typed in, like getting something like user0xxxx, just delete the app and re-download TikTok, then repeat step 2.
Congrats, you now have one TikTok account! But, this doesn’t mean you can post right away. The TikTok algorithm is really good at spotting spammers, so warming up your account is essential. Let’s move on to step 3, which is about getting your account ready.
Step 3: Warm Up Your Account:
From what I’ve seen, in early 2023, you didn’t need to warm up your account much, but now it’s important to do it slowly and carefully.
Day 1:
Open the TikTok app and spend about 5 to 15 minutes scrolling like a regular user. Don’t like anything yet. Why? I researched hundreds of popular accounts, and I found that the like-to-view ratio is around 3-5%. That means for every 100 views, you’ll get about 3-5 likes. So, if you haven’t watched at least 100 videos, don’t like anything.
Note: Don’t change any of your account info during this time.
Day 2:
Open TikTok again, and spend another 5-15 minutes scrolling. Today, you can edit your bio, avatar, or username. But don’t change everything all at once, and don’t do it too quickly. Keep it slow and natural.
Day 3:
Open TikTok and keep scrolling like a real user. This time, you can post your first video! It’s best to record a video using your phone, add some sound, and include effects.
I know that after posting this, some of you will appreciate it, while others might criticize my approach because of different opinions.
Trust me, try it out for yourself and you’ll see what works. I’m not here to waste 30 minutes writing fake advice for a quick reputation boost.

I hope this helps all the MMO members make more money with this method in 2025.
Take care!
