Facebook Facebook ads are active but not spending, why is that?

Hi, my Facebook ad sets started on 25-03-2024, but up until today, the money spent is still $0, even though the ads are active.

Can anyone help with this?

I’ve run 2 ads before, and they worked fine.

You can check your page again under account quality and look at the payment section.
 
It's pretty normal these days for reviews to take about 3 to 6 days. But if you're not sure, try boosting some of your posts.

Account quality is good, no issues. Still no warnings, it's a clean account. Billing has also been topped up, including VAT tax.

The review is already done, that’s why the status is active. But it seems like the ads aren’t running at all.
 
I think the problem might be with your credit card. Check the payment options and make sure you added everything correctly. If everything looks good, don’t worry—just give it some time. The Facebook algorithm might take a little while to show results!

I’ve had the same problem a lot, but I think the payment option or results might show up after some time!

I added money by topping up. The money is already in there. I topped up $98 and want to use $32 for a campaign.
But the campaign isn't working. It's been 5 days now.
The first one didn’t work, so I deleted it and made a new one — still not working.
 
Did you try putting in one extra card just in case? Also, try making another ad group in that same campaign — it can help boost things on Facebook.
Oh, and don’t forget to check if your page is live and showing!

The issue might be with your page — it could have some limits. But if everything looks fine, try these things:


  • Add a different way to pay.
  • Raise your budget by around $2 or $3.
 
  • Look at your Page to make sure it’s still live. Sometimes weak pages get turned off automatically after you post a new ad.
  • If your Page is up, check if there are any age or country limits. If there are, make sure your audience isn’t blocked by those settings.
  • Go to your ad account’s payment info. If your card says something like “not enough money,” then your payment method could be the issue.
  • Also check if there’s a spending limit set by mistake. If you see one, try removing it.
  • Your ad manager isn’t in English in the screenshot, so I can’t tell for sure—but did you maybe pick a date like Feb 24 by mistake? I hope that’s not the only problem, haha!
 
Maybe your payment card got paused, or something’s going on with your profile page.

I think you’re right. But also, take a look at how everything’s set up. The issue might be coming from your tracking tool, your site, or maybe even your app.
 
Sometimes your Facebook ads are turned on but still not showing up. One reason could be that you ran out of money for them. If you set a daily or total limit, it might have already been used up. Take a look at your budget settings to make sure there’s still enough left to keep your ads going.
