I manage a global app and aim to boost downloads through Google Ads, but the Cost Per Install (CPI) is proving to be high. Are there any tips to reduce CPI in 2022? Additionally, how do you discover keywords for app advertisements, and is duplicating a campaign beneficial?

Your insights and tips would be greatly appreciated, as I'm struggling to secure downloads with a lower CPI. Thank you.

I haven’t heard much about app campaigns here. Just my two cents for your questions:

How can I lower the CPI (cost per install) in 2022?
— Try running the campaign and adjusting the price as you go.

How do you find keywords for app ads?
— Use mobile ASO (App Store Optimization) tools like App Annie, or even Google Ads' Keyword Planner.

Is copying a campaign helpful?
— Not for me. Usually, one campaign works well, and the other doesn’t do as well.
