Anyone ever try running their own ad system instead of using the usual ones? How did it go?

I’ve been wondering—does building your own ad setup work as well as using one from another company? Has anyone tried both doing it yourself and using someone else’s system? I’m super interested to know how well it worked and if it was a lot of work to keep your own thing running!

Are you talking about something like ADX or maybe DSP stuff? If so, I actually gave it a shot, but it was super hard since I didn’t have many people visiting or much to work with.

If you’re just getting started or don’t have a lot going on yet, using one that’s already made is way easier. They take care of all the tricky computer stuff, like keeping it working all the time. But if you're running something big or need things done in a special way, making your own could be a good idea. Just know—it’s gonna be a lot of work!
