How can I start learning to buy ads if I’m a total beginner?

Hello all,


I’m totally new to media buying—I only found out about it a few days ago. I watched some videos and heard a few podcasts, but I want to learn more and get better at it.


Can you suggest any good classes, YouTube channels, or books? I’m happy to spend some money if the lessons are really good.

You can begin by checking out some posts on this site. There’s also a section called “My Stories” where people share what happened when they tried things like buying ads online. Here’s the link if you're curious:

Just remember—not everything you read will be 100% true.

The best way to really understand it is by trying it yourself. Books and classes can help, but they won’t teach you everything. You’ll learn a lot more once you actually give it a shot. Keep in mind though, buying ads isn’t free—you’ll need to spend some money, and sometimes you might mess up and lose some. That’s part of how you learn.
