I’m running a content view campaign, but 90% of my traffic is from bots.

I’ve tried everything—broad targeting, focusing on just a few states or cities, detailed targeting, and more. But no matter what I do, I keep getting bot traffic.

Two months ago, I was easily getting real traffic with very little bot activity. But now, no matter what I try, 90% of my traffic is from bots.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it?

How are you figuring out that 90% of the traffic is from bots? I ask because that number seems really high for Facebook ads. Are you sure it's bots, or could it be real leads that just aren’t converting well?

Have you thought about using a tool to block bots, like reCAPTCHA, or changing where your traffic is coming from? That might make things clearer.

Have you looked at where your website traffic is coming from? Sometimes, changing where your ads are placed can help lower fake traffic.

So, Facebook gets fake traffic too? I’ve never really had much luck with Facebook ads and always end up wasting my money. I used to think their traffic was top-notch because it’s from social media.

Try using accounts with a set budget limit. This can help you save a lot of money.

Having the same problem.

The real and simple answer is to avoid running video view ads. Focus only on leads or sales campaigns because the others get a lot of fake traffic on Facebook.
